“ It was my first time there with two homeirls. We were visiting and went cosmic tubing. Bartender was nice especially compared to other places out that way. Nice vibes thank you ”
“ Awesome local spot, totally worth the short trip off the hwy 26 -just do it. The bartender is so personable and the onion rings are light, fluffy, and nongreasy. Good beer selection, pool table. ”
“ Brightwood Tavern has always been the mountain’s living room. Third generation just took over ownership and I’m thrilled that they now offer excellent home cooked food with daily specials and soups. It is a 21 and over bar. It is also an excellent gathering spot for motorcycle runs and mountain bike events. Give the owners a call and make arrangements. I’m posting some photos from a motorcycle run stop. The service was outstanding with fresh hot food being served quickly. It was impressive how many people they served and the food quality. ”

“ If you are looking for an out of the way spot, with the real patina of an old local bar, for a good burger this is the place for you. Winter, our server, was a hoot! ”
“ Onion rings were as good as I've ever had. I could tell the guy took pride in them too. ”
“ This fried chicken is for real. Lemonade is solid too. Relaxing and spacious outdoor area. Tavern style, low key, and charming - don't expect luxe amenities. ”
